Just wondered how easy it would be to make one for support suite? I hate having to send out ugly URL's on emails and tickets to customers ![]() Perhaps take this: Quote:

Hi Carl, Mod_Rewrite doesn't go and change all of the URLs on your site. What happens is, when someone tries: support.yoursite/downloads/1 It mod_rewrites the URL to: support.yoursite/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&1 -------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes, you will need to manually change the code in some areas of Kayako to link to the rewritten URL.

The forum (vBulletin) has a plugin installed to do this. Unfortunatly it would be no easy task, especially if you wish to do it for tickets. I suggest you get something like PS Pad and then use the search files / folders tool to find files that contain what the old url contained so you can then change it. Hi Carl, You may be interested in this thread, where someone is offering to sell the module to do this: http://forums.kayako.com/f52/paid-search-engine-optimization-module-esupport-support-suite-11627/ And this thread, which is the current feature request thread for the functionality: http://forums.kayako.com/f120/system...ly-urls-11098/ -------------------------------------------------------------------
