Does anyone know what logic is used to determine if a staff user is online? Spent too much time already trying to find the code..

There is a sessions table that contains all staff currently online. Every time a staff user changes pages, it updates that table. Sessions expire after 15 minutes of no activity.

If you are going to use this table, make sure you have a cron in place so that old sessions get cleared.

Thank you. I saw that table but it wasn't (still isn't) obvious which column is identifying a staffer from an ordinary user. I expect it's sessiontype or typeid.
