Proactive chat in Flash

I recently upgraded to version 3.30.02

I notice that in the proactive chat window, now the link for opening the chat window changed to

javascript:doProactiveRequest_<{$variablesuffix}>( );

My problem is that, since we are using a lot of flash in our support center, the HTML floating frame is not visible. In the previous version I had no problem including another Flash animation with the yes/no links for the proactive chat window, since the link was javascript static.

Problem now is that I must include this $variablesuffix, obviously from Flash I cannot figure out a way to get that suffix and include it into the link inside the flash movie.

Any ideas in how to get the $variablesuffix value in flash and then parse the link????

Hi DLRX,

You could create your own JavaScript script that wraps the doProactiveRequest_..., which you can then call statically in your Flash script.
