Question Add Live Response Chat Now button to Webpage - 18-11-2008, 03:37 PM

I am using this live response app on my computer and it works fine from Customer Support - Powered By Kayako SupportSuite (Live Support ONLINE when I have the live response app running and people can chat to me)

How do I get this button onto our homepage?

I went to Tools > Add HTML Button but the code it gave me a single javascript tag, is this enough? How do I apply a set of custom button images to it?

Is there more code required than just this:

<!-- Begin SupportSuite Javascript Code -->
<script language="javascript" src="http://keystonelearning.helpserve.com/visitor/index.php?_m=livesupport&_a=htmlcode&departmentid= 0"></script>
<!-- End SupportSuite Javascript Code -->

Because that is all it gave me.

According to this post here: can I move the live support logo to my website's frontpage? that's all you need.
I just tested it on my site and it works like a charm...

You need to replace the following :-
- /themes/client_default/staffonline.gif
- /themes/client_default/staffaway.gif
- /themes/client_default/staffbackin5.gif
- /themes/client_default/staffoffline.gif

Where should I go to look for the above lines? In the XML file?

Thanks

you don't look for those lines anywhere... if you want to replace the current images with your own images you would UPLOAD them over those ones.....
