Changing staff nav bar colors - 25-03-2008, 10:29 AM

How can I change the background color of the nav bar options?

For example: When I select the knowledgebase the color is orange.
What should I do to change the tickets background also to orange?

Already looked in "\themes\admin_default\staffnavbar.tpl" but could not find anything with "bgcolors" or something like that.
So where should I look?

Best way to do this is to go into /themes/admin_default/ and switch menusection<NUMBER>.gif around.

Thank you for your suggestion.
I did what you said but unfortunately it didn't work.
I changed the menusection2.gif and menusection5.gif
So menusection2.gif does now have the color orange and menusection5.gif does now have the color red.

I refreshed my browser, deleted my temp internet files, cleared the cache of the staff cp, but still it aint showing me the change.
What could be wrong?

EDIT:
I checked my php.log file and after I refreshed my browser with ../staff/index.php?_ca=rebuildcache the log file filled with more then 50 of these errors:

[25-Mar-2008 14:43:45] PHP Warning: unlink(./cache/01e6851eb080b707d47a1378fe9bfcd1.php) [<a href='function.unlink'>function.unlink</a>]: Permission denied in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\support\staff\index.php on line 77

Changed the permission of the cache folder solved this problem.
However the line below the menubar option (think about 6 pixels high) is still in the old color.
Any idea how to change that to?

By editing that file it worked but it gave me another problem!
So I replaced the css.tpl file by the original file so every change I made would be undone.

When I click on one of the following links in the staff interface (menulink 3,4,5,6,ect.) it shows me "undefined".
When I look in my php.log file I see:

[25-Mar-2008 15:24:46] PHP Fatal error: submit actie is niet geregistreerd in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\support\includes\functions.php on line 742

What went wrong? How can I fix this?

Try deleting everything in the cache directory using FTP software?

Don't know which fase caused me that problem but doing that fixed it again.
I will try it again till I find out what caused me that problem.

Thanks!

Using that rebuild tool only allows it to remove any cache it has permission to do so with you see. Deleting using FTP means all new cache will have permissions set properly.

But the problem is that I don't use FTP. I have Windows Server 2003 enviroment so I just use the copy paste function in the wwwroot folder.

Oh, just go into the cache folder and delete everything in it, then.
