CSS help - 09-06-2007, 04:01 AM

Hi there,

I am looking for some help with the color of the Kayako Client Center.

Instead of blue.... I wanted it orange... No other modifications...

Can anybody help me?
Cheers

Have a look in the admin cp

Templates > General

Then look at the header, footer & client css templates

There may be others, but I haven't had time to look further yet.

It would be cool if someone took the time to take a screenshot and mark it up with the right places to change the colors in the templates...

Features I need asap:
1) Ticket search in the client portal!
2) Column display in client portal showing clients email address or name
3) Downloads by client
(i.e. - each client has their own download area and can't see/touch downloads for any other client.) This would be on top of a "public" download area.
4) Integrated KB image uploads
The ability for staff to upload images with a KB articles.
Cheers!

In the meanwhile, you could always download a color grabbing program and search for the color in the CSS and templates. This is how I located all of mine and it took no time at all to change it to fit my color scheme. There were a few images that needed changing as well, but overall, very quick.

Excellent, glad it helped. ColorCop is one of my favorites, and I've tried plenty of those.

I use ColorZilla for FireFox personally. It's a nice tool.

I'll see your "ColorZilla" and raise you one "webDeveloper" plugin. See the CSS, see table outlines, resize...all sorts of goodies.

You can also edit the CSS / HTML on-the-fly, it is very handy.

I only wish WD didn't bork Mozilla so badly. Works great in FF, but I had to kill the Mozilla profile it was installed on. Completely ruined it...and no way to uninstall.
