How to disable user editing of Ticket Status - 05-09-2007, 01:34 PM

Ticket status is a default field of tickets, and I can't seem to find an option to make users unable to edit it. Is this possible?

Staff CP -> Staff -> Manage Groups -> Registered -> Set "Can Change Ticket Properties" to "No".

Keep in mind that this option only stops user's from editing the feild once they submit the ticket...they will still see the feild when submitting a ticket.

Yes, it's ok for them to see it. But the problem is, I want to restrict the editing of only this particular field, not all the ticket properties. Currently when I change this option, the user isn't able to edit priority.
We want the user to be able to edit priority, and not able to edit status.

Edit: 10x for the fast response

Not currently possible without editing the code. I have suggested these be seporated (editing priority and editing status) so hopefully it will be implemented in a future version. I too find it annoying these are not seporate.
