Question for Jamie about template variables. - 16-04-2007, 07:16 AM

Jamie,

I'm directing this question your way since you would be the one whom has documented or is documenting this.

I have had this question in one of my support tickets for a month now and support does not seem to be able to answer. Can you tell me what the variables are that I should use in the template text for the following settings?

I want to use these in the message body text for the specific queue rather than the general company name.

Thanks.

From the "Email Queue->Edit Email Queue" configuration page in the Admin area:

Queue Overrides (Optional)

From Name
If specified, all outgoing Emails under this Queue will have their "From Name" replaced with the entered value.

From Email
If specified, all outgoing Emails under this Queue will have their "From Email" replaced with the entered value.

And this one from the Template Group Settings page in the admin area:

Company Name
Enter the default Company Name to associate with this Template Group.

Hi netFusion,

I am not actually sure these values are actually passed into the template engine as variables at all - I will have the check this with a developer for you.
