Question User activation e-Mail resists - 28-04-2008, 03:52 PM

Hello,

I have used a recent package find here to translate in French my eSupport. All work good, except the the user activation e-mail.

I enable the Manual Staff Verification. That's work good too but the e-mail is in english. I don't understand where is the problem. All phrases and all the client interface are in French, but just this email is in english.

Do you know what is the reason?

Which version of Kayako are you using? I believe there is a bug reported for this issue.

I use the 3.20.02.

I find this : Kayako Bug Tracker - Viewing Issue #345 - Registration Mail in wrong and unknown language

That indicates this bug is fix into the 3.20.03 version but in the members area, only the 3.20.02 is available. I have to wait the next version...

/includes/functions_users.php is the only file changed in this bug fix. One option would be to download the latest package (go Builds and download the top one either in IonCube or Zend format depending on which you are using) and replace this single file.

I have checked and no other changes to this file have happened since the previous version but please remember to backup the existing file and also this is done at your own risk.

I suggest you submit a ticket then. If that hasn't fixed it, the bug hasn't been fixed.

I just got a notification email that this bug has been reopened so I guess this yet needs to be fixed.
