| Why such difference between v3.11.02 and the previous one? -

Hi
We have the latest version of Kayako (3.11.02) so i can't install the latest French language posted on here since it's for the previous version of Kayako.
I compared the XML file of the French translation on here with the exported default English language pack from our Kayako install.
I was hoping all of the language variables which are the same would at least still be in the same place (when comparing the files side by side in notepad) making the job of updating the translation easy, i.e. mass copying and pasting could have been used for the most part.
Instead, all of the variables seem to be arranged completely differently in the xml file of version 3.11.02 compared to the previous one! This would make it a very time consuming job to update the translation and it would probably be quicker to do it all from scratch, including the translation itself!!!
Unless i'm mistaken and there is an easy way to update the last translation?
I just don't understand why there seems to be so much difference between the 2 versions?
Thanks
Jason
P.S. In the Kayako manual, it asks you to refer to the FAQ for details of how to translate a language pack, but there is no information in the FAQ about how to do it! |
