Paid Holbi Search Engine Optimization (Search Engine Optimization) for Knowledgebase

Hello Everyone! Here are some good news for you: we have reached the Beta version status of our "Holbi Search Engine Optimization module For Kayako's Knowledgebase". The module will allow for not only specifying custom URLs for KB articles, but also for proper search engine friendly page titles and META tags, and advanced usage of Header HTML tags. We have implemented a similar module for osCommerce and it works pretty well on a number of online stores of our customers.

This version (1.0.0.15) supports SEO for all articles, in next version (1.0.1), implement SEO for article categories, and SEO configuration from admin.

Categories don't appear to be getting the same treatment.

According to Kayako, Kayako modules, Kayako services, Design for Kayako, Kayako add-ons it will be $150.

Provided creditnails are for staff and admin (they work Ok, just checked).
This mod is paid and the price will be 150$

Categories do not work like articles YET, but its a Beta version and we intend to include this functionality in the next version. ETA 1-2 weeks

You've got some good mods there but a bit pricey. I only say that cause you are requesting money for mods that softair used to provide for free. How do we go about seeing screenshots or more of a description of each mod?

$150 is very steep considering this is a small modification and Kayako's software is $500 fully owned...

I agree and some of the other mods are in the $400 range. I look at it as though Softair was free and Holbi's is $150. Dewak is going to come out with similar mods and will hopefully have Softair type pricing so we'll see.

Sorry to hijack your thread Andrew but you may want to consider your pricing strategy based on the market, competition, and value.

Softair´s Search Engine Optimization mod was about 110 USD, with less functionality, and we are going to add more work to this module. So I think this module worth this price.

I have to disagree with you.

Softair had 'some' mods for free, but we purchased their attachment & assignment module installed which costed us $390 !!!

I can only speak about the experience I had with Holbi, which was very positive (and with a fair price / work )

It's not only the installation they provide but also the long term support on their product !

Sure, we include installation and support to our prices. Our technical department is preparing specifications and descriptions for all our modules, we will update our site with this info very soon.

If it comes with installation and support then I guess the price is somewhat reasonable. Its hard to find good support these days or people that stand by their products so if you truly do then it would be worth the money.

This mod can't be used with multi language
on the other hand after you upgrade your kayako then you get into trouble
It is not wise to use such a mod!

Mod installation will take you less than 10 mins, so you wont get into troubles, my company will provide you installation pack and instruction how to install in case you updated your system, and you dont need to update your templates like it used to be with other SEO modules, you just need to edit only 3 lines and upload our modules to your server (we were thinking about our future clients when we were creating this module), multilanguage support will be included in the version # 1.4, we will invest all our SEO experience in this module, we promise it will work.
