Antoine's mod sounds incredibly useful in avoiding a proliferation of template groups. I'm very tempted to try it out. I have multiple sites, each of which can be served by a template group; however, within each site I have normal staff user groups who should be restricted from seeing items in more technical categories. Jamie, do the core developers have any plans to adapt this approach to the KB, TS, and DL modules in future releases? + Free: Ticket List & Search Mods | Dept. Still seems to work in 3.11.02. The man's a genius! Just be sure you have some permissions assigned to your user before you go clicking the Knowledgebase or Download widgets. You might get a blank page, like I did. You may also want to set allow_call_time_pass_reference = On in your php.ini, if you are using PHP5. And be sure you've applied Antoine's 'patch' described below. It's a pain, but if you don't make the replacements you'll have problems in the backend. (That almost sounds like a double entendre, doesn't it? I'm staying up too late these days.) + Free: Ticket List & Search Mods | Dept. Eh, i got happy when reading the notification email Thanks for your kind words I'm also happy having "my" third user (including eona )Quote:
Anyway, serm has been done in a way that it doesn't modify too much kayako's code, so this mod should be working for a while.Anyway, please check the CRON at support.mydomain.tld/cron/ (check if there's no php fatal error) because Eona had a bug lately (just a problem with PATH: needed to remove a "..") and the cron didn't work anymore (i don't know if the bug is in the install guide or if it was just a typo). Hi, I've got an owned license, but I could not get SERM to work. While installing, the creation of the 3 tables, altering several tables goes well. But then op button "...redirecting" appaers, and after that the only option that I get is "install" again. When I tried to install again, I get the message "failed" because my tables already exists... Anybody any idea ??? Thanks in advance, Vincent |

Delete the tables in your database then (they're called serm_*) That should fix the install process.Quote:
