Is esupport FOOTER being displayed? If not, it means there is a PHP error before (in "my" code). Please check your php log.

Does anyone have SERM running under 3.30.02?

I think that noone is using it as the -manual- install process is "long and boring": it's such a pain to reinstall this mod when you just want to update SupportSuite. As long as there's no automatic installer think of this mod as a "proof of concept".There's a real need to provide a generic "install/reapply all my mods" (diff tools can sometimes be used when you want to re-patch )

SERM for files - 14-10-2008, 03:11 PM

Thanks for the module, Antoine. I've successfully implemented it and have it working.

I was curious. Is it possible to control access to individual files instead of folders? I am specifically looking to control access to files stored in the Downloads section, but do not want to create a lot of different folders. It would be great if I could control access to the individual files.

Thanks again.

Excellent! Could you confirm what version of the software you're running and whether you encountered any difficulties implementing the mod?

I am running 3.11.01. I did not run into any issues installing, other than my own inability to read and follow directions .

Once the "fix" was applied, I could see the sections in the "rights" tab and manage the folders.

Too bad. I was hoping you'd applied it to 3.30.

Indeed, this is one of the improvment suggestion i've listed in my first post

Improvements
What can be done :
- Handle file per file permissions (atm it’s only categories)
- Handle user per user permissions (atm it’s only usergroups)
- Extend SERM to other features (atm only DL/KB/TS)
but i'm not working on this(/any) module anymore (i've just been lurking lately) but anyone is free to give a try
