Same situation for me. I upgraded earlier and it went through smoothly.

I just found out that I had some RED marks (revert required) in my templates. I did so and reapplied my changes. All ok

Yeah I think its written somewhere that you should restore all your templates before upgrading to ensure everything is copied over correctly.

No - revert after upgrading, remembering to back up your existing templates so you can reapply your modifications.

You have to manually reapply your mods right? You can't simply copy the templates back in in order to have your mods can you?

You do have to manually reapply the modifications to the new templates. However, lots of people forget to backup their templates in the first place and cannot remember what modifications they made!

BUGFIX: Owner Drop Down Sort

Do I have to revert anything? This still shows up ordered in which staff were entered into the tool.

Thanks

If you go Admin CP -> Templates -> Manage Templates it shows you in red what requires reverts. Remember to backup your changes first.

Hi jpuff,

Please try emptying the cache folder inside your SupportSuite installation directory, and then see if the issue persists.

You all have a great role model - vBulletin! I would really like you all to follow their lead in posting a release.

We need files affected! What templates are changed/affected, what files are affected, what files are new. Many of us have custom client themes and we don't use your images with every update, I delete all client theme images. However, you all ADDED one in this release "feedicon.gif" and we need to know these things!

As I have mentioned over and over again, also following vBulletin's footsteps, you all need to think "upgrade!" there is no reason config.php should be in the package OR better, it should be named config.php.new so people don't overwrite their config.php files. You should offer a download that has NO IMAGES so we don't overwrite our custom images.

Let me know when the Kayako support site is updated and I'll point out template issues introduced in 3.11 such as in the KB area.

Man I would love to see what is effected as stated above to make sure I need to implement the update asap or can hold off for a bit or wait for the next major version update.

This is also an INSTALL package.

You should use tools like "file differences", to know what has changed as there's no UPDATE package. But it's true that there should be an UPDATE package with only modified files inside.
