3.11.02 CVS: New live chat code - 28-01-2008, 05:47 PM

We have implemented new code to catch silent-fail errors that were causing random drops and disconnects on some people's installations.

We would be grateful if you could provide feedback in this thread after testing this.

Jamie,
I have been advised that this bugfix would solve our LiveSupport problem. However, it still does not work. I have notified via our support ticket, but thought I should update this forum thread also.

Hi Jamie,
The Livechat consistenly fails, not being able to "connect". To explain more clearly;

1. Client clicks on "Live Support Online"
2. Staff App indicates a new chat request
3. Staff accepts the chat request, at the SAME time, the clients' browser popup displays a page error symbol;

And the livesupport session never 'connects'.

This issue was resolved after reverting the livesupport templates! And all now works. Thanks for your hard work on the bugfix.

This issue is resolved now. The upgrade to the latest build and templates restore fixed the problem.
