Is there any doco on 3.30.00 released? Eg, specific instructions on upgrading?

Just upgrade as normal according to the manual was all I did.

Your host should install it if you ask them.

Hopefully, I'm using DreamHost and they take a policy of DIY when it comes to PHP.

The proceedure is just the same as usual. It is documented in the user manual: Redirecting

Please be aware that you need at least PHP 5.1 installed in order to use 3.30.00, and you must have PHP modules mbstring and mcrypt installed too.

Your Zend build is broken. Downloaded twice and it says it is corrupted.

For everyone's information, there was a small debug statement left in the build created yesterday, which has been removed and rebuilt as of now. The debug statement results in the creation of a debug.txt file in the cache folder where certain data from the mail parser is sent.

If you downloaded the 3.30.00 STABLE build before 14 Aug 2008 04:42 PM, please read this post to learn how to disable the debug statement: Debug.txt file in /Files folder

If you have a closed build, e-mail me and I will send you the appropriate patch file. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

This suggests a PHP halt. Check your phpinfo() to see if mcrypt is loaded. Also, make sure you're running at least PHP 5.1.0. If both of those are the case, please open a support ticket.
