Exclamation 3.30.02 STABLE released - 26-08-2008, 11:30 PM

Greetings all,

3.30.02 STABLE Released

We have released 3.30.02 STABLE, which addresses the following bugs that were present in 3.30.01:
  • #719: Search tickets by creator possibly broken
  • #779: Billing tab time field is off by -1 hour if "daylight savings" is turned off
  • #780: The settings "Reset Due Time On Status Change" not working in 3.30.01
  • #781: Due time not reset on staff reply
  • #782: Work Summary Report shows no entries
  • #783: "Cannot pass parameter x by reference..." problem with encoded builds
  • #784: Staff user accounts don't use default timezone setting
Customers using 3.30.00 and 3.30.01 are encouraged to upgrade to this build. For a full changelog, see 3.30.02 STABLE Released.

Upgrade notes:
  • PHP version 5.1.0 is now the minimum system requirement (5.2.6 recommended).
  • The PHP extension 'mcrypt' is now required: PHP: Mcrypt - Manual
  • Modifications to timezone-related functionality will require resetting of both the application's global timezone setting (Admin CP >> Settings >> Date & Time >> Time Zone) and per-user timezone settings after installation. Timezones now directly mirror PHP timezones: PHP: List of Supported Timezones - Manual
Changed files since 3.30.01 (for information purposes only - do not perform partial upgrades!)
  • swift/includes/functions_html.php (1.41)
  • swift/locale/en-us/settings.php (1.78)
  • swift/includes/functions_cron.php (1.15)
  • swift/setup/includes/functions.php (1.29)
  • swift/modules/core/setup.php (1.19)
  • swift/setup/upgrade/3.30.00/upgrade.php (1.13)
  • swift/includes/functions_sqlsearch.php (1.12)
  • swift/modules/tickets/staff_ajax.php (1.49)
  • swift/modules/tickets/functions_reports.php (1.8)
  • swift/locale/en-us/tickets.php (1.20)
  • swift/modules/tickets/staff_viewticket.php (1.61)
Thank you,

Jamie Edwards (jamie.edwards ]at[ kayako.com)

Jamie,

Can you put together a list of files that were changed from 01 to 02? I just spent the better half of last Friday updating our customized ticket system to 3.30.01, and don't particularly want to spend an entire day doing the same thing - would be great if you or one of the developers could put this list together.

Thanks

Hi Chris,

Yes - I will get one for you tommorow.

Edit: Or if http://builds.kayako.net refreshes before then, look for files modified after the 16th August.

Is it normal for the admin CP to still say I'm on 3.30.00? I upgraded to 3.30.01 before upgrading today.

Definately not normal, make sure you run the upgrade script after upgrading else the version number update and the structural changes wont get executed.

If no DB changes are required, for example I don't think I need to run and DB changes from 3.30.01 to 3.30.02, then how can I manually set the version number?

You should run the upgrade script in all upgrade cases.

To update the version number, run the "Upgrade" script after uploading the "setup" folder. The reason why I gave this answer is because we will not support or advise you to perform partial upgrades in this way.

It appears as though there are database related changes between builds 3.30.01 and 3.30.02, anyway.

Thanks,

I upgraded the helpdesk files accordingly and even used the update script in the setup folder. Still says 3.30.00

Did you upload all of the files and run the upgrade script (I am not talking about just the changed files, which were listed for information purposes only).
