.80 not working - 25-03-2006, 10:51 PM

After upgrading to .80 the predefined replies, knowledgebase, and download links inside of the ticket reply area are not working....

Broken for our installation as well. - 27-03-2006, 05:42 PM

Broken in both Firefox and MSIE.

This is really bad. It makes answering tickets a lot less efficient for our service reps.

Hi,

When you upgraded did you keep the original files directory or wipe it?

Also what error if any are you seeing?

I did not keep the original files directory, as the only directory to be kept, per the upgrade instructions, is the config directory.

There is no error message. The dropdowns simply do not appear. Clicking them does nothing.

Here are some extra characters so the stupid system lets me post this change.

Hi,

The system writes you downloads and some .js files to the files directory. The.js files are used to generate the menus and updated as you add downloads, kb articles, etc so should be kept.

When upgrading you should keep the files direcotry and content, I would check the config file with each upgrade too as Kayako sometimes make changes that require the updated config file to work.

I've filed a bug regarding the missing documentation.

Is there any method of regenerating what's gone missing in the files directory then?
