Active Directory Problem - 05-06-2006, 05:26 PM

I am new to this and I have read everything on this forum about Active Directory Intergration.

I have sorted out the php side of things and the phpinfo says the ldap is installed etc...

I have set up the template and set the loginshare pages.

However it still doesn't work ?

What should I be typing in for e-mail address The Internal (username@domain.local) or the full one (username@schoolname.lea.sch.uk) ?

Is there a way I can getting a log file for this as when I try to log in it just says invalid username or password.

HELP !!!!

Why is there no detailed manual for this ?

According to includes/LoginShare/activedirectory.loginshare.php the system checks the emails from following fields:

Code:
mail
proxyaddresses
You can use emails specified in these fields to login.

Hope this helps.

everything that you've stated is covered in the forum about it. 119 posts of pure knowledge. alot of times if a domain has been upgraded from a pre-win2k to win2k+ environment the domain name could of changed. Try running an ldap query normally and find out what all the domain settings are. Also verify that the username and password you have has been setup to do ldap queries as alot of times a normal user does not have this ability. Worse comes to worse, if you want me to take a look at it, give me the credentials and i will play around with it till it works.
