Add another widget to support center - 27-03-2006, 02:44 AM

Hello,

Whats the best way to add another widget to the support center? I have resource guide/manual I wish to create a widget for.

Whats the best way to do this in the templates?

Thanks!

Since you file is enocoded you can't edit the that file. How ever if you go to your Admin CP and go into templates and edit I think the index or header template you can add your own widgets.

/includes/Widgets/widgets.php is not encoded in my version :s

This is the only place you can edit the widgets on the homepage though - you can't edit them through the templates. This would be a nice change though, so we can have different icons depending on the group which is used.

The file being encoded means that you have a lease version, and therefore do not get access to the source. I have a purchased version and have full source code.

If you have the encoded version, all you need to do is email support and they will supply you with an unencoded widgets.php file
