Adding just a text message or note to a ticket creation area - 16-02-2008, 02:51 PM

I want to know if there is a way to add just a text note or something to certain ticket creation pages for certain departments.

For example, we have a department for "Support". We want to put a not to "include a screenshot of any error messages" above the body area before they click submit. Is this possible?

Can it be different for different departments?

Yes, this is very much possible. Use the if else clause on the submitticket template. Something like:
Code:
if departmentid == 1
This message
else
This message
endif
HTH

Admin CP -> Departments -> Manage Departments

Just hover over and you will see like "departmentid=4" in the status bar.
