Admin panel all over the place - 20-02-2007, 11:14 PM

Hello

Have just reinstalled eSupport on a new server, and afaik I haven't done anything differently, but the Admin panel is displaying like below...

Also, if you click on any buttons in the Staff panel they don't work.

I searched the forum and found that one other person had the Staff panel problem, and the suggestions were to ensure the directory had write access, but that didn't solve the problem...

This is not browser specific--it's happening in both IE and Firefox.

It's installed on...

Windows Server 2003
IIS6
PHP5 / Zend

Regards
Brendan

Brendan,
You can fix this issue by disabling "Enable Javascript Cache for Theme Items" in the Admin CP:
Admin CP > Settings > General > Default Theme Options > Enable Javascript Cache for Theme Items > No
Clear your browser cache and try again. It should work.

Unfortunately none of the buttons work in the Admin panel either. Can I edit this in the database?

Any idea what the cause is? I'd rather know what the cause is as this just shouldn't have happened... It was a clean install, on the same OS, on the same server...

I seem to have fixed it... the 'cache' dir didn't have write permissions. I don't remember doing this previously... And I can't find this requirement anywhere in the manual (please point out if it's in there).
