Another due date question - 23-03-2007, 03:10 PM

Is there anyway to have a manually set Due Date take precedence over SLA assigned due dates?

We have engineers working on projects and setting longer due dates, but once moved between the different statues it gets set to the SLA due date. Very annoying. Any thoughts?

Hi jpuff,

I believe this feature is not configurable in the way you described.

Maybe you could work around it by having a "Engineer In Progress" status that has an SLA plan attached to it (and all other SLA plans removed from it) with a default number of due hours.
