Another question regarding emails - 05-01-2007, 09:31 PM

When I get a reply from an end user, I'm getting an alert and the content of the email is coming across with a lot of <br />'s in them. I'm not sure where this is coming from, but looking at the original email I do not see it.

Is there a template I need to modify?

Has the notification email template edited? Does it have a department signature attached to it when you receive the notification email?

We had the same problem with our 3.04.10 installation until I requested and got a patched version of functions_ticketmain.php from mahesh.slaria AT kayako.com. Send him an email, and he should send you the same patch.

The other alternative is to install the next STABLE build that Kayako releases. Comments I've seen in the forums hint that this should be available very soon now :-)

The notification email template was not modified in any way, and we are not using department signatures either. Thanks Tom, actually we're a hosted solution, so I'll just submit a ticket and let them work on it directly.

Thanks for the feedback and heads up!

Supportskins, have to say it's nice having your input on this stuff here, it's greatly appreciated, this is twice you've been willing to help out.
