I hate to ask a question that's probably been answered several times but I couldn't find the answer I need so here goes. What exactly needs to be done to turn active the x-cart loginshare? In the admin panel I went to Templates/LoginShare and selected X-Cart. I entered the Hostname, DBName, DB User, and DB Password. It can't be as simple as this though, can it? |

Yup, it is that simple. Just 1 more step, you need to set the software to use X-Cart LoginShare plugin under: Admin CP > Templates > Manage Groups > default > Settings > LoginShare > X-Cart Professional and Affordable Kayako Skins - Specialists in Kayako Skinning & Customization - Professional Paid Support Our Skins and Services - http://www.supportskins.com/store/ SupportSkins.com - http://www.supportskins.com/ |

Well I've done both and don't seem to be able to login using an x-cart username. The user I'm attempting to login as was created in x-cart after I made the changes to SupportSuite. I've tried logging in with the x-cart username and also the email address. After clicking on the login button I'm brought to the Processing Login screen and am then told Invalid Username or Password. Any ideas on where I'm going wrong? |

Which version of X-Cart are you using. I believe the login method has changed in the newer versions of X-Cart due to which the loginshare plugin fails. I am using X-Cart version 4.1.4. I asked the Kayako support guys about integrating the two programs and they said it wouldn't be a problem. I'm concerned my 10 day trial is going to expire without me ever setting the program up correctly. |

If I remember correctly, the loginshare plugin provided along with the Kayako software only works for version prior to v4.1.0 as it is in this version wherein X-Cart developers changed the method of user authentication in their software. Just in case anybody comes across this thread, please read what is below. The X-Cart LoginShare included with Kayako ONLY works with 4.0.x and NOT 4.1.x. Please see http://forums.kayako.com/showthread....0308#post50308 for more details. Icon Headquarters - Its Elixir - Web2Messenger |
