Applying Templates to multiple User Group

Does anyone know how to apply their template to multiple user groups? I find it really annoying that you have to create a template for each user group especially if you heavily mod your templates.

There are a couple of ways to do this:

1) You can use the default template group template for the newly created template group under:
Admin CP > Templates > Manage Groups > Insert Group > General Options > Copy Templates From > default

2) You can export the default template group templates and re-import them to the newly created template group
Admin CP > Templates > Import/Export

Yes I know but currently I'm having an issue with exporting and importing templates if you remember. You were trying to help me out with that before but it still isn't resolved.
