Attachment & swattachmentchunks - 24-03-2006, 05:07 PM

We are having 2 problems, and not sure if they are releated.

1st, when we go to Tickets » Attachment Types, there is no option to add the attachment types to accept
(familar with the setting in Settings > Tickets > Attachment Settings)
I have that set to allow only the attachments set, but where do you add them ?

Also, we have a locked table that is causing problems.
Because of this locked table, it is not allowing the whole db size to be backed up, fails

Any help would be greatly appricated

Hi,
There is an Insert link in the table in Attachment Types.

As for locked tables, Did you search google on how to unlock it?

Thanks on the incert button, I missed it

I sure did, and they still won't unlock (checked the suggestions on dev.mysql.com)

ever see them lock like this ?

Nope, Never had any locking issues with tables.

sounds like it may be corrupt.
can we drop the table and just copy a blank table in from another copy of the db ?

(I don't care if the table is just for attachments, we don't have any needing saving)

Yes you can, You will loose all attachment data. It is recommended you store attachments in files anyway, You can configure this under Admin CP > Settings > Tickets.
