Thumbs up Attachments cleared even if size < Size Limit - 23-01-2006, 06:31 AM

Hi,

I'm getting this for inbound attachments.

-- Mime Data Cleared due to Size Limit under Settings > Parser --

Size of email indicated by 'View Email Header'
Size: 1.41 MB

Size Limit under Settings is 2097152.

max_allowed_packet = 1048576
upload_max_filesize=5M

Can someone tell me why I'm unable to view the attachment? and why is it being cleared even if it is below the Size Limit?

Kayako ver 3.00.31 on Windows.

Here's a header that was not 'Cleared' but when downloaded, it was blank.

Ooo ... it's working now.

Just a permission issue. Had to set the IUSR_yourservername (Internet Guest Account) with write and modify permissions for the folder.

Mea culpa!

Nope still not working - 11-02-2006, 02:08 AM

Oh ... hang on. It works if the file does not have to be split into multiple storage ie. smaller than 'Database Attachment Chunk Size', I think. I've set the 'Database Attachment Chunk Size' to 5242880 but files about 2MB are still blank.

If I receive an email with 2 attachments, one > 2MB and the other about 150kb, I can view the one for 150kb but not the 2MB.

Oh yes ... attachments doesn't seem to be going out from the system either. Please tell me which settings I should check to enable my outgoing attachment.
