Attachments in eSupport KB Articles

Can anyone tell me if the feature to be able to have an attachment uploaded as part of a KB Article has been implemented?

It's been a real pain not being able to do this as it's something that was there in version 2.

No this feature is not available in v3. This is already submitted as a feature request at http://bugs.kayako.net/. As of now you can add a link in your KB article to an existing file. Hope this helps

Thanks for the update, I just wanted to double-check the status. The workaround we use is to use a "Hidden" download section with files on it. Then we simply use the links to those files on the KB article itself, keeping everything on one box. Reasonably elegant, but still a pain in the backside compared to v2.

I think the reason why it was removed was something to do with the complexity of linking in the KB article with a downloads section.

Seems a bit weak to be honest with you, would expect more - it's not that hard, surely?
