attachments not in email alert - 21-01-2006, 10:12 PM

in v2, when a ticket or reply that had an attachment in it was sent in by a customer, the email alert received by the staff member had the attachment in it and we didn't have to go to the supportdesk to retrieve it

why does this not work in v3 ?

How do you turn this OFF? Almost 99% of all my tickets have attachments and most are anywhere from 3MB to 20MB and each time it sends an email alert about a new ticket, that monster attachment is included.

Is there a way to STOP the email from attaching the attachment to the ticket notify?

I do not believe this is possible by default. You will have to modify the source code.
