Automatic Uploading of files - 12-04-2008, 04:00 PM

Hi

Does anyone know of a way to automatically upload files with out the use of admin area.

I have numerous clients that need to download individual reports reffering to each one.... Keeping in mind that the clients have reached 200, it is amazingly teadius to do so manually

Any ideas ?

thanks

Uploading files for what purpose? The Kayako Downloads module?

Well there is no built in way to do it but you could modify the software to do this. Check the marketplace board if you need somebody to help you do this.

Well I have analysed the kayako database and managed to insert a file to be downloaded, into a certain users account.

There are only 3 db tables that are affected.

The only thing that remains is to design a few forms to dynamically do all these .

sniff sniff

I need to start reading php I'm afraid.

When completed i will post back!!

Meanwhile ...if someone has something done before, let me know.

Yea, if you do manage it, I am sure others would appreciate you sharing your mod.
