Unhappy Autoreponder not being received - 19-01-2007, 11:31 PM

Hi all,

I am having a rather annoying problem with eSupport. Some of my clients are not receiving the autoresponder, but their message is being successfully piped into the system.

Now, I have flood protection turned off and I use Phpmail to send the autoresponders, sending via SMTP does the same thing.

The clients mail server is a MS Small Business Server running Exchange 2003 SP1. I host their website, so their DNS list resides on the same cPanel server as my eSupport does BUT their MX entry points to their Exchange server at their premises. I can send a message from *any* other address, and I get a autoresponder and the message is successfully piped?

Any ideas? Has anyone experienced this before? I am getting a little desperate as these people are contract customers.

Perhaps the message is being tagged as Spam? Not sure, there could be a lot of reasons as to why this is happening but the best way out is to inspect the logs of your mail server if possible.
