Exclamation autoresponder login issues - 31-12-2006, 08:56 PM

We are using login share with AD, but we also have external none AD clients. the problem we have is that the autoresponder emails that go out to the external clients does not contain login info on the url to check the status of the ticket. the user gets "you do not have permision to login. use your email address and password." The user never gets a password with the auto responder. I have tride the suggestions on this post Create links in ticket emails that auto login and go to the ticket
but still have the same issue. The AD users have no problem. Any help would pre appreciated.

I am encountering this problem as well.

(I use vBulletin integration.)

It's the nature of this system that some of my users will be registered in the vBulletin system and some will be brand new (without any sort of registration in the system). How do I get login information mailed in the auto-responder?

Send Password in Auto Responder Message is set to Yes.

Does this mean that we need to be running multiple template groups to reach intended functionality?

Hrrmmm....

Keeping a record on this...

I've tried removing the LoginShare settings and having it back at the default Kayako support login. Even in that case, external users are NOT receiving username/password information.

Another update:

Last time I tried switching back to SupportSuite Login Routine from vBulletin on Login Share, I had already received support requests from 5 e-mail addresses, which had been created prior by the system.

This time, I switched back to SupportSuite Login Routine, removed all the old users from the system ahead of time, and started sending messages on a blank slate. The auto-responder messages now DO include login information.

Does this mean that we must create multiple template groups to reach intended functionality, even though it really only serves to complicate the whole process?
