better handling for CC / BCC fields - 19-11-2006, 02:24 PM

The current functions for esupport cc/ bcc is pathetic..

I think the cc/ bcc field should work like this.
1. In the posts, should always mentioned if the email is cc-ed , bcc ed
now, it only shows the sender...
so it should say
sender: user@user.com
cc: aaa@user.com;bbb@some.com

2. There should be an option to choose if cc and bcc fields are added automatically in system. (note: this is already added by kayako into cvs version.)

3. email address used as email queues should not be added as any recipient!

4. IN the post reply tab, the system should always show the email addresses that this post is to be sent to! YOu can't expect every user click the 'edit" tab each time before they send out email!

Anyone agree with that or do you have any more comments?
thanks.

I agree with you, the CC and BCC fields should be editable and should be displayed at the top of the ticket.

Hi,

You can have a list/edit receiprants displayed in the reply tab on the staff cp.
Please ensure you have 'List Recipients Before Replying?' set to 'Yes' in Settings > Tickets.

Hope this helps,
Rob
