Blank page after reply, no emails being send - 21-07-2008, 05:30 PM

Hello,

Since this week I've been trying a few things with the Kayako SupportSuite..

Emails are being fetched from several POP3/IMAP servers, all perfect, however

When replying to a message, upon clicking "Send", it slowly starts loading the next page, and ends, showing only a white page with nothing on it.

Ticket is not being closed
Reply is being added to the ticket
No email is being send to the customer.

Also, no email is being send on ticket creation.

SMTP is on Enable in the admin panel
SMTP Autorization is on "YES", mail server (remote server) is turned on and filled in, along with working username and password (I use the same user, host and password for my normal mail, it works).

Checking the Email Log files, there is not any entry at all.

Help!?!?

1) Make sure your SMTP settings are correct
2) Try disabling SMTP and check if that works.
3) Make sure your Department/Staff Names do not have any punctuation marks
4) Make sure your PHP installation meets all Kayako requirements.

This very much sounds like SupportSuite is timing out before the send is completed. This usually indicates trouble with the mailserver or firewall. Please open a support ticket; we'll investigate.
