Blank page when submitting a ticket - 06-03-2008, 11:07 AM

Whenever someone tries to submit a ticket, they click "submit" and then it just throws them to a blank page. The ticket is submitted and all goes well with that but the page that should be like a "your ticket was submitted" does not exist, it just is a blank page. The file that shows the blank page is index.php but I can't edit any files to do any debugging so I was wondering if there is something that would be causing this that I can fix. I followed all of the installation instructions and had no problems except for not having mbstring installed but I don't see how mbstring would cause this problem.

Is this on a new install or have you recently upgraded? Have you tried reuploading all files in Binary mode? Have you tried reverting all templates?

And make sure your PHP installation meets all software requirements.

It is a fresh install so it has never actually worked yet. I reuploaded everything, same problem. Yes, binary mode. the only thing that I don't have is the mbstring extension. That was the only error that I was given but I don't see how any of this would break a quick redirect to another page. Seriously, this is probably just a header() call to the new location, no big deal. If I could view the source I am sure I could fix it myself but that is not possible obviously.

Sounds like an MBString Not Present issue then. Can you create a PHP Info file (Creating a phpinfo() page) and link to it here please so we can take a look?

Strange. Ok try here: phpinfo() yes it is a different server but I copy/pasted the HTML from the original server (tallinn1) so it is an accurate display of what is on tallinn1

Hi there,

PHP needs to be installed with mbstring support; this is a requirement of SupportSuite, and the blank pages issue is a typical symptom of not having it installed.
