Browser Caching issues - 16-04-2008, 03:51 PM

Ok, this is driving me nuts.

I am running Kayako 3.20.02 and Firefox 2.0.0.13 on Vista 32bit. I literally have to hit ctrl+F5 on every single kayako page, if not, it will show old data.

I do not have this crazy caching issue on any other web site. Any ideas?

Do you have any cache supporting software installed on your webserver on which Kayako is installed on?

Do you have a firewall/proxy doing caching at the edge of your LAN? I had these sorts of issues with mine until I told the proxy not to cache anything for my support site.

I`m having these issues always in IE. No matter the version, kayako hates IE. In firefox is works blazing fast.

Then use FireFox

Try clearing everything (cache, cookies, etc) in IE and see if it then loads fast. May be something jammed in there.
