Captcha - 30-04-2007, 01:05 PM

I have the setting set to "ON" so that when a user submits a new ticket they have to use the captcha verification before submitting but the captcha never shows up. It only shows up when a user registers but not when they submit a ticket. Anyone else notice this?

Does the verification image does not show up or the complete verification field is not displayed?

The complete feild does not show up. Its weird cause it worked once but now that I check it out it does not ever appear when a user submits a ticket via support centre.

Hi Siora,

I can confirm this with the latest build. I have also submitted a bug report on your behalf.

Hi Siora,

I am unable to duplicate this issue on my development box. Can you please provide me your Admin CP access to look into this issue?

Thanks.

Regards,

Hi there,

I have investigated this further and discussed this with a developer and I cannot replicate it as I first mention (error on my part!).

Have you made sure to enable "Enable CATCHPA for ticket submission"? If you have and the field still does not show, please submit a support ticket and a developer will trace the issue.

Thanks,

Yes I double checked that and it still doesn't work. I'll submit a support ticket. Thanks Jamie.

I submitted a ticket (FMD-560604) however for some reason I cannot submit a ticket via the members area even though I own a license so I submitted it via the sales department. If you can, can you change departments for me. I put a note in the ticket stating that it was for support.

Hi Siora,

This may be because if a field is left blank you are re-routed to the Sales ticket submission page. Please ensure to fill out all fields whilst we work on catching this problem more effectively.

Thanks,

Well it turns out that because I require registration to submit a ticket, the captcha feild does not show up.
