Change status based on custom field value - 01-07-2008, 11:22 AM

Hi There,

Can anyone advise on how I can set a status of a ticket based on a value selected in a custom field. I have a custom field called contact reason and want to have any ticket where the reason selected from the custom field is equal to cancel, the status change or the ticket highlighted in some other way.

This isn't currently possible.

I think it ties in with Ticket Rules for web created ones.
