Question Changing the logo in the Custoemr CP - 03-07-2006, 09:24 AM

We have the owned version of SupportSuite and want to remove the SupportSuite logo from the Customer CP and replace it with our own logo.

Any ideas on how to do this?

Admin CP > Templates > Manage Templates > General > Header then search in the code for this line

Code:
<td width="52%" align="left"><a href="index.php"><img src="<{$themepath}><{$product}>.gif" border="0"></a></td>
and replace

Code:
<{$themepath}><{$product}>.gif
with your own... or you can make your own logo and save it as supportsuite.gif and just upload it over the old one then you dont have to edit the code.

If your just uploading you wanna upload the supportsuite.gif file to /support/themes/client_default/ this will replace the one for the Customers... Then if you also want to put your logo so it appears at the top of the admin and staff cp then you can also upload it too /support/themes/admin_default/

Logo change on hosted supportsuite - 11-06-2008, 04:06 PM

Hi, we have recently purchased supportsuite on a monthly hosted option, and wish to change the default logo with our own.

I have read the forums on the subject and am still a bit confused, I understand that we need to rename our own logo with "esupport.gif" and (save the replaced images on your own server and point the image source in the templates to the saved location), the bracket bit I lifted from a posting and is the bit I don't understand. Where is the "image source"? I assume the code in in the templates header code, if so how do I locate it?

Apologies in advance for sounding stupid, any help is appreciated

M

On the hosted platform, you must upload your logo to another server you have FTP access to. When you have done this, go Admin CP > Templates > Manage Templates > General > Header and find :-
Code:
<td width="52%" align="left"><a href="index.php"><img src="<{$themepath}><{$product}>.gif" border="0"></a></td>
Replace <{$themepath}><{$product}>.gif with the full URL to your logo.
