Changing the path to esupport - 31-07-2008, 06:19 PM

Hi

I have installed esupport and it's working fine *however* my manager has now decided the path isn't correct and wants it changed from http://www.mydomain.com/support to Domain Names, Shared Web Hosting and Site Design Tools - MyDomain

How do I go about doing this? I've already renamed the directory which doesn't work unfortunately.

Nevermind - found it - I renamed the directory and changed the path in admin>settings>product url

For people who find this: Always remember to change the product URL first, then move the location of the help desk. The other way around will cause you massive head bashing!

Well it did crash but I simply renamed the directory back to its original name and it started again no prob, then I went to the control panel, changed the product URL and then changed the directory name using my FTP client.

Heh yea, that works, too! I was just pointing it out here for anybody else who is planning on moving Kayako around.
