Changing Subject or Email Address of a Ticket - 12-08-2005, 09:22 PM

* Is there a way to change the subject of a ticket? Sometimes we need to re-write the subject.

* Is there a way to change the email address of the user. Sometimes the user uses the web interface, or a phone ticket, and the wrong email address is entered.

yes, I would like to have an answer to the second question, too: How do I change the email address of the customer?

Email address is easy to change, with the edit button. I don't know how to change subjects though. I'd really like to see that.

Using the edit button I can not edit the email address here, only txt in the message.

I think it works now using the "edit user" function. There can be edited the email address of any user.

Hello. My company is interested in the ability to modify the Subject line in any email support tickets. We have access to the source code --- are there any other threads on this topic? Any ETA on this feature becoming available?

This is available in recent versions (this thread was from a year ago).
Open the ticket, and look to the right of the buttons at the top for "edit". From there you can change email, subject and more...
