The newly added comments CAPTCHA feature does not work if you disable the "Register" widget for the "Guest" user group under: Staff CP > Users > Manage Groups > Guest > Permissions: SWIFT General > Can View Register Widget > No If this is set to "No" then Kayako does not display the CAPTCHA image for comments. This does not work for both v3.30.01 as well as for v3.30.02 which was released earlier today.
