cookies issue with phpbb users module - 12-01-2008, 08:35 AM

Hello

on client side, the password cookie for the password is not well stored, this is a big problem because when you choose remember me option you got from login information only the username is good.

impossible to submit something on bug tracker by the way because the signup confirmation link returns a php error

Which phpBB version are you using? 2 or 3?

Also, just to confirm, the following is the issue :-
1. You go onto Kayako and enter your details, tick the remember me button and click Login.
2. You go back and you are not still logged in.

Also, whats the link to the front end of your phpBB and Kayako installs?

hello craig

we have a V2 phpbb version running

login works fine but when you choose remember me option (I remove the option now) and logot you can't login just by clicking, the password outfilled by the cookie value is not good, you have to change it manually and then it works. it sucks hard so we remove the option remember me in the template but I would like it to work

paysite-cash emailed me the links and I looked at his install. After ticking the remember me box and then logging out, it stores the details in the boxes. See http://www.craigbrass.net/personal/i...108-183123.jpg

This is not a browser issue, I have checked. I have PMed him back asking if he has modified the software in any way.
