Copies self in all communications - 21-01-2007, 08:47 PM

Hi;

When the following option is set to YES:

Auto Add CC Users as CC Recipients
If Enabled, System will automatically add additional recipients in an incoming email as CC Recipients

Any replies from support suite is copied to itself. The sender gets a copy and the support email used for sending also gets a copy.

My understanding of the text next to the option is all people that are in the CC list of the original email should also get a copy of the reply but NOT the address used for sending.. reply to all does not mean include the sender his/her own reply.

Does this make sense?

Hi Kami,
Unfortunately no, you have me a bit confused on this. Can you please elaborate on this?

Thanks!

Regards,

Varun Shoor

Varun:

When I choose the option noted what I expect is for all email addresses used in the CC field of the original email to be included in the reply by support suite.

What I get is the support email also being cc'd in the email.

So lets say someone emails support and cc's 3 of the co-workers in the email so they also see the response. When I reply back I get a copy of the email in the support as the response to itself- in other words the last replier becomes support itself.

When a reply to all is done the sender should not be included in the list.
