| New Member Posts: 8 Join Date: Jan 2008 | Can I ask what this cron is for specifically? wget -O/dev/null yourdomain.com In the manual it says the cron must be run every 5 minutes, however, my web hosts only allow a cron interval of 15minutes and up and I would like to know how this will affect me ? |

It does various clean up tasks as well as escalations. The main issue you will have is if you have POP / IMAP mail fetching as it is only run on admin / staff area login + when the cron is run.
