Custom Field Data NOT Displaying in UserMgr 3.00.90 - 20-06-2006, 03:18 PM

Anyone else have this?

Have two custom fields: phone numbers.. When we fill them out, the Data displays fine within the Ticket Header display..

BUT in the StaffCP > Manage Users .. the numbers do not display any information...

Nor does the Support Center login.. when the Client logins in, they see the fields as blank.

Ideas?

Okay in order to display in the Manager Users the custom field has to be a User Registration... Then to display in the Ticket Header of a ticket it has to be setup for User Ticket Creation...

So if you just have User Ticket Creation setup for that custom field its not gonna display in the Manage User as that only displays the information displayed with the User Registered their Support Account..

Thanks for the Quick reply..

Let me see if I follow you.. The Custom Fields Group is setup as User Registration in the AdminCP..

So if I clear my cache and register as a brand new user from SupportCenter, I add my new email address and phone numbers...

Then go back to My Account, my name shows as an editable field.. but not my phone numbers.. They look like I never entered them..

Again, this is all in the SupportCenter front end... Is that the way it's support to work? We;re new to Kayako..

Thanks!

Sorry for jumping in, but I don't follow this at all....

I have 3 Custom Questions - User Registration Type
They are all User Editable and Staff Editable (2 are mandatory).

None of them will retain data.

I have tried editing the User in staffCP and when logged in as the individual...

Any suggestions?

Yeah..that is it.. BUT I am almost positive the data IS saving to the DBase..

From table `swcustomfieldvalues`

Code:
INSERT INTO `swcustomfieldvalues` VALUES (59, 1, 51, '619-231-1212', 0);
INSERT INTO `swcustomfieldvalues` VALUES (60, 2, 51, '213-234-1111', 0);
So the issues seems to be displaying the Data in the Registration Page.. Both with the Support Center and the StaffCP.

Hi,

it's a bug in 3.0.90.
replace the /includes/functions_customfields.php with a older version (eg. 3.0.28) and it will work again.

After doing that i have no problems.

Custom Fields not showing up in User Edit page - 29-06-2006, 06:32 PM

What if we don't have access to an older version, what do we do?

I just want to put some of my users in a different group and now i can't because the custom registration fields show up as blank when i go to edit the user and i am required to fill in the values, even though they already have been entered and show up on the tickets.

You can download previous versions in the member center:

I think that download only works if you have purchased the source code... if you're on the hosted version it doesn't work...

You may be able to request the file change from Kayako support.
