Custom Fields & Custom Template Groups. - 10-12-2005, 10:29 PM

We have bought Esupport suite mainly for the Satellite desk functions, and we wnat to use as the central system for leads registration as well as customer support.


Actually I am trying tofigure out how to insert custom Fields or Field Groups, which should apply onlty to certain template groups or user groups during the registration process. Ther result is the the custom fileds appears to all the template groups regardless.

So I tried to isert custom fields assigned to the "group Type" Usergroups.
As a results now I have this custom filed when the "user groups" are edited or new are created...

Is there anybody which knows if that can be done?

You can only link custom fields to departments.
So if you want some fields to only appear in certain groups, then the only way I can see this is possible if that you need to create different departments for each group.
