Arrow custome field groups in multiple sections - 04-02-2006, 11:11 AM

I've got an important question about custom fields that was never answered in the forums: Is it possible to assign a custom field group to more than one section?

The situation I'm thinking about is this: I have created a custom field group with many fields (details about our customers OS, ...) and I can assign it to either "user ticket creation" or "staff ticket creation". In the first case only users see this field and can enter information, but not our staff when creating a phone ticket. In the second case the user doesn't see the field, but our staff does. Is there a way to make this field available in both places (user and staff ticket creation)? Or could this be integrated into the next build?

This is not currently possible currently in Kayako eSupport. However, I have been wanting to do this for quite sometime. I finally just entered in a separate group for all my needs but it would be nice if I could just assign to multiple groups. I have filed a feature suggestion for this.
