Customers can change ticket status?! - 02-05-2008, 02:37 PM

Hi Guys & Girls,

When I send a ticket response I like to leave them on hold to unclutter the helpdesk. Obviously when the customer replies it is changed to open again.

It drives me nuts when customers change the ticket status to open from the front end as it brings my attention back to it before it is required. Is there a way to disable this?

Yes there is - you can disable the ability to do this for each user group, under the Staff Control Panel -> Users -> Manage Groups
